I stopped for lunch at Posthorn in Leyburn in NorthYorkshire.;and I got a ham, mozzarella, and pesto panini with chips and coleslaw. They gave 3 sachets of red sauce. The Cappuccino was amazing, wanting more. All for £14.75 which I thought was reasonable. The town was quaint but dated, apart from Posthorn and a couple of other shops. Staff were very polite and helpful 🙂 There is quite a lot of parking, but it gets full quite quickly. The car parking has a donation bucket.

Enjoyed this place, efficient ie we were seated promptly and each tables was cleared and cleaned down before anyone was seated. Staff: Friendly and a nice bit of Banter after I inadvertently photo bombed a customer. Accessibility: Step down immediately on entering. Two steps up to the loos. Car Parking: In the Market Place Child friendly: Yes Service: Wait to be seated and they worked quite fast to get customers seated. Quite busy when we were there as there was a Market on in the Square. Food: Cooked to.order, but no long wait. Veggie options and they checked my Tiasted Cheese Scone was veggie. Toilets: Boys and Girls with quirky signs! Not disabled loos.

Really nice food. However it was very busy and they only seemed to have 1 waiter that seemed quite stressed.

Wish we’d gone somewhere else, wasn’t worth £50. The staff were friendly however the food was very disappointing. The mushroom soup and cold sandwich was horrible, the fish fingers were grey and no taste and chips were not cooked at all!
