Real ale lovers will be in heaven in Masham. The town has a long history of making beer, and is now home to two breweries as well as large number of great pubs. Both the Black Sheep Brewery and Theakston Brewery offer tours from their visitor centre, and true connoisseurs will want to take both, and sample all the brews on offer which will include a few special ales you may not find elsewhere.
