Wonderful place for weddings, including a huge, beautifully mown lawn area and car park (free) at the back/side and plenty of room in front of the church for wedding cars and group photography. Steps up to door, with option for a ramp on request. Very w/ch accessible, though I'd recommend wheelchair users arrive by vehicle if possible as the driveway is long with a fairly steep incline.
Very welcoming AngloCatholic parish Church with a fine Harrison & Harrison pipe organ
Very well kept graveyard but the only let down is that there is not a water supply which is not good for the relatives visiting the family with flowers and also to clean the headstone
Great vicar who is well intouch with modern society. A perfect church to join with God
This church and its grounds has stood here for a lot of years. As I have grown up in Swinton and surrounding area It is a Beautiful church, it is such a Beautiful building. The grounds are looked after by one person I believe, and he does a good job as much as he can, and there is a lot to cover. My grandparents and mother are in the cemetery.
