Bought my first ever car from them in August after passing my test & have had nothing but issues. I broke down nearly on the motorway just after having the car 3 weeks and RAC came out & told me the gear cables had been previously bodged and tied with tie wraps. Now the car I bought supposedly passed an MOT beginning of August. Either way my car shouldn't of been sold to me like this. Now even more problems and only had the car 4 months. ☹️

My son located his ideal car at Drive Away Motors, and we travelled 2.5 hours for a test drive and in-person check, after paying a deposit. Purchasing a second-hand car is always risky. We had the MOT history on-line, servicing information, and had done a lot of research on recalls, model foibles, etc. However, a serious fault may be hiding or biding its time: it is just the way it is with second-hand cars. You have to be realistic. My son spent a lot of time inspecting the vehicle before the test drive: he was given as much time as he needed. He had a great discussion with the company owner, and my son purchased and drove the car home the same day, knowing he had a good warranty. He took it for a full service at his local garage this week in an excess of caution, and it has passed with flying colours: zero surprises. We found the owner to be a lovely person, and great to do business with. If there were to be an issue (and I am not anticipating any) I am confident that a phone call would get the ball rolling to sort it out. We are very happy with our purchase and can recommend this company to others.

Bought our Nissan Juke around a month ago. Had a great experience from start to finish and the owner could not have helped any more. Car runs brilliant, recommend 100%.

Bought my first ever car from here exactly a week ago today, today the engine light came on, car won't accelerate and is making an awful sound. Reached out to the dealership but have had no response, this car was taken in as a part exchange and sold at a cheap price by the dealership but supposedly had a brand new MOT done. No way has this car just passed an MOT woth no advisories but then broken down with something big a week later. We are taking it to the mechanic on Monday and hoping it can be fixed but at the moment I've just blown my savings buying a car to have it only last a week before packing in. Now thinking we've been duped into buying a broken car and are now thousands out of pocket.
