If I could give ZERO STARS I definitely would be doing!! Earlier this evening my son and I visited this store, as I do almost daily. Making this as brief as possible, basically my boy was 12p short for the sweets he wanted, and I had just spent my last few pounds on a couple of essentials so I couldn't give him it. Let me first make myself clear - my issue is in no way at all due to the cashier refusing to let me being the 12p in in the morning. No, my issue is with the disrespectful way that man dealt with an 11 year old boy!! My lad asked (very nicely) if he could please be let off with the excess. I said I'd bring it down in the morning. Then the phone rang. AND HE ANSWERED IT!!! But that's not all!!!.. A good few minutes in to the phone conversation - HE WAS TALKING ON THE PHONE FOR AROUND 5 MINS! - he then looked over my son's head and proceeded to attempt to serve the man behind me in the queue! He wasn't able as they're not a pay point. And then, when he got off the phone he refused to tick my boy a poxy 12 pence!! Of course I made my opinions very clear, he was extremely rude!! And he tried denying serving someone else, until I pointed out the only reason the man wasn't served was because the shop doesn't have what the man wanted. It's not the first time that I have issues concerning the lack of respect received from the younger men who work there. I will be shopping elsewhere from now on
What a great store with availability. I am aware the store is expecting to add some more services in the coming weeks. It will be the best store on Doncaster Road Mexborough. I went in today and bought a coffee which definitely beats both Costa and Starbucks. Having looked around, prices were very competitive compared to other local shops. Definitely a store to be recommended.
A great shop the owner is very helpful and the expansion off to the side of the main room with the coffee machine was a brilliant idea
