I live on a narrowboat and travel round the country stopping wherever takes my fancy. A great life I have enjoyed now for 22 years. I visited the lock just to fill up my fresh water tank. It supplies my drinking and washing water, also the toilet flush. It holds 1000 litres and took almost 2 hours to fill. A very slow tap indeed. The tap at Sprotborough lock is out of order hence having to move. After the fill up I returned to Sprotborough visitor moorings for a couple more days before returning to my mooring at Stanilands marina.
