On Sunday, 15th September, Wolds Restaurant at Orchard Lodge in Flixton will open its doors to host a special Big Brew event in support of Yorkshire Cancer Research. This event is part of a wider initiative by the charity encouraging communities to come together over a cup of tea and raise funds for cancer research in the region.
A community-driven cause
Andrew and Lucinda Jenkins, the proprietors of Wolds Restaurant and Orchard Lodge, have deep roots in Yorkshire. Their commitment to local causes shines through in this fundraiser, which reflects their dedication to giving back to the community that supports their businesses. Lucinda Jenkins expressed their motivation for hosting the event, stating,
“Yorkshire Cancer Research does very important work to support people in our county. As our businesses have Yorkshire at their heart, we wanted to give something back to YCR, and a Big Brew seemed the perfect event.”

Supporting Yorkshire, from farm to table
