The Alhambra Theatre in Bradford is set to host the highly anticipated revival of the Broadway and West End hit musical, Calamity Jane, starring the acclaimed actress Carrie Hope Fletcher. This exciting production, presented by Jamie Wilson Productions and originally produced by The Watermill Theatre, will run from Monday, September 1st to Saturday, September 6th, 2025.

Carrie Hope Fletcher Leads the Cast
Carrie Hope Fletcher, a three-time WhatsOnStage Best Actress in a Musical winner, will star as the fearless and charismatic Calamity Jane. Fletcher is known for her roles in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella, Heathers, The Addams Family, and Les Misérables. She also boasts a 2022 GRAMMY nomination for Best Musical Theatre Album and has a significant presence on social media, with over 635,000 YouTube subscribers and over a million views each month.

The Story of Calamity Jane
Set in the Dakota Territory, the musical follows the adventures of Calamity Jane, a larger-than-life character with a big personality. Known for her sharpshooting skills and quick wit, Calamity Jane navigates through a world of action, romance, and comedy. The story also explores her attempts to win the heart of the dashing Lieutenant Gilmartin while dealing with her jealousy over the Chicago stage star Adelaid Adams.
