Want to get into the festive spirit? Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley, Leeds has got you covered with their Magical Christmas Market this year from 29th November to 1st December 2024. The perfect place to find unique gifts, food and festive fun.
Here’s the low down.
Creative fun
This three day event will have over 100 makers and artists from across the UK in the 1912 building at Sunny Bank Mills. Each day is different with new stalls on Sunday so there’s no excuse not to visit more than once!
Here’s a flavour of what you’ll find:
- Handmade jewellery for someone special.
- Original artworks and prints for unique gifts.
- Ceramics, homeware, textiles and more from independent makers.
Admission is just £3 per adult, kids under 12 go free so bring the whole family!
When and where
The Christmas Market is on these days and times:
- Friday 29th November: 2pm – 8pm (perfect for late night shopping!)
- Saturday 30th November & Sunday 1st December: 10am – 4pm
Fun for little ones: the Christmas playroom
If you’re bringing kids the Christmas Playroom is a must. Open on Saturday and Sunday (10am – 4pm) this festive space is full of activities for kids and grown ups. Here’s what you’ll find:
- Storytelling with Liv – a magical way to fire the imagination.
- Festive card printing using child-safe lino tools (ages 3+).
Admission is £2 per person, under-twos go free. The Playroom is recommended for kids under 6.

Pop into the Twisting and Spinning Mill where resident artists will be opening their studios. Here you can meet local makers, see their workspaces and buy direct from them.
