Known for their innovative single malt whisky, this Hunmanby based distillery, Yorkshire’s first, has released their latest limited edition, with festive flavours and all the magic of the season.

46% ABV Filey Bay Sherry Cask Reserve #5 is the latest in Spirit of Yorkshire’s annual autumn Sherry Cask Reserve series. The 2023 edition is a blend of distillates matured in first-fill ex-Pedro Ximenez (PX) and ex-Moscatel sherry hogshead casks.
This whisky combines the fruity richness of PX sherry, the brightness of Moscatel and classic winter spices. Whisky lovers can expect to find notes of dark brown sugar, rich marmalade, currants, walnuts and that holiday warmth we all need in the colder months.
Joe Clark, whisky director at Spirit of Yorkshire, said:
“This year’s release combines the best of our distillery character with some of our rarest maturing stocks of ex-sherry casks. The ex-Moscatel casks bring a brighter character and a subtle creaminess, the ex-Pedro Ximenez brings richness, dried fruits and festive flavours that are loved in this style of whisky, especially at this time of year.”
