Popeyes fans in West Yorkshire, listen up! The American fast-food chain famous for its New Orleans-style chicken is opening a brand new drive-thru in Gildersome on Monday 28th October at 11am. This isn’t just any old restaurant opening though – you can win free Chicken Sandwiches for a whole year!

How to win free Popeyes for a year

You’ll have heard about the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich—the one that “broke the internet” a while back. Well, if you’ve been wanting to try it (or already love it) you’ll want to be first in line at the Gildersome location.

Here’s the deal: the first three people (on foot or in cars) at the grand opening will win free Chicken Sandwiches for a whole year! Yes, that’s a whole 12 months of that crispy, juicy goodness. And if you’re not quite that early, the next 100 customers will get a free Chicken Sandwich just for turning up.

Another chance to win

Can’t make it on Monday? No problem! From Tuesday 29th October to Sunday 3rd November Popeyes is running a special promotion. Order during that time and find a golden-wrapped Chicken Sandwich and you’ll win a year’s worth of sandwiches. It’s like Willy Wonka, but tastier.

Location and features

The new Popeyes is located on Plantation Way, at Unit 1A Wakefield Rd, Gildersome, Leeds. The site has 68 indoor and 16 outdoor seats, and if you don’t feel like getting out of your car you can use the drive-thru lane or one of the ‘Park & Serve’ bays. Over 100 jobs have been created for locals, so this is a big deal for the community.

The Wakefield opening was a big deal with hundreds queuing up for free sandwiches so expect Gildersome to be just as busy. So get there early!
