About North Yorkshire Water Park

Located just east of Wykeham and six miles west of Scarborough, North Yorkshire Water Park initially featured four specialist fishing lakes and a larger lake (approximately 80 acres) dedicated to water sports. Over the years, it has become a hub for local water sports clubs and enthusiasts, offering activities like sailing, windsurfing, model yacht racing, and open water swimming.

The park officially launched in July 2017 with the introduction of the AquaPark, adding a variety of thrilling activities such as kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and tandem kayaking.

In 2021, the Dawnay Estate significantly expanded the park, introducing wakeboarding and a new 70-seat café building with an events room. Today, North Yorkshire Water Park continues to evolve, offering an ever-growing array of adventures for visitors.
