Bradford College are sticking to their guns with Bradford City AFC and the community, this is the 4th year of the partnership. This is more than just a sponsorship, it’s about creating real opportunities for students and supporting Bradford’s local industries.
Bradford College aren’t just putting their logo on a stadium, they’re making a lasting impact on young people in the area.

More than just a stadium
In addition to the branding on show at Bradford City’s University of Bradford Stadium, Bradford College’s name is also plastered across the club’s digital channels, on visuals and videos. A college that’s been preparing students for careers for nearly 200 years, equipping them with the skills to hit the ground running in industries like sports, digital media and hospitality.
But it doesn’t stop there. This summer the College helped produce the club’s kit launch for the 2024/25 season, with students and staff styling and acting in the promotional content. A hands on experience that brings learning to life – the kind that really gets you noticed on your CV.
Real work experience
Nicky Betteridge, Bradford College’s Senior Business Development Officer, said:
“This partnership gives students opportunities to gain work experience in sports, digital and hospitality.”
For example students from Bradford College’s Arts and Fashion programmes styled and made up the team for the kit launches, so they could see what a career in fashion looks like. And they’ll take that with them into their job searches – real projects not just theory in the classroom.
Alongside the practical experience Bradford College’s Apprenticeship department have worked with the club’s marketing team to create a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer qualification. This course is designed for local businesses and gives students in-depth training in digital marketing, making them more employable than ever.
Win win for the community
Bradford City’s Chief Commercial Officer, Davide Longo said: “Bradford College have been great with us since 2020 and their help with our kit launches was crucial for a top product.” He added: “Working with key partners in Bradford is important for the city’s growth and we’re pleased to continue this partnership.”
For Bradford College it’s about more than just brand exposure – it’s about giving back to the city and creating a cycle of opportunity. Each partnership, from styling football kits to marketing coursework, grows Bradford’s local talent and helps the city’s future.
