Bradford City have added to their forward line with the capture of striker Will Swan from Crawley Town for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old joins the Bantams on a two-year contract, with the option of an additional season, and arrives with experience across League One and League Two. A graduate of the Nottingham Forest academy, Swan brings goal-scoring instinct and attacking versatility to Valley Parade.

He enjoyed a successful spell at Mansfield Town, where he played a key part in their 2023/24 promotion campaign, registering nine goals and five assists across 35 appearances. In total, he made 78 appearances for the Stags, scoring 20 goals and assisting seven more.
After moving to Crawley Town, Swan featured regularly in League One last season, notching seven goals and adding three assists in 37 games.
Speaking following the move, Swan said:
“I am incredibly excited to join Bradford City, as soon as I heard about the interest, I knew this was the place for me and now it is done, I could not be happier.
“Everyone in football saw the scenes on the last day of the season, over 24,000 fans, those are the atmospheres you want to play in. I have played at Valley Parade before and you can see how brilliant the support is and I am eager to get going.”
Manager Graham Alexander welcomed the signing, saying:
“Adding Will to our attacking options is a real bonus for us. He can play anywhere along the front line, bringing others into play while giving us another goal-scoring threat.
He can also press the way we like, so there is plenty to work with.”
Swan’s move is subject to EFL approval.
