The tour will see these productions staged in some of the UK’s most picturesque and historically significant locations, adding an extra layer of charm and authenticity to the performances.

The Secret Diary of Henry VIII

Kicking off the tour is “The Secret Diary of Henry VIII,” a fresh and humorous take on one of England’s most notorious monarchs. This production delves into the tumultuous life of young Henry VIII as he navigates the complexities of courtly life, warfare, and religious reform.

Audiences can expect a unique portrayal of Henry’s relationships with his infamous wives and his battle to maintain control over the Tudor court. The play promises a blend of historical insight and comedic flair, making it an essential watch for history buffs and theatre lovers alike.

The Comedy of Errors

Alongside “The Secret Diary of Henry VIII,” The Three Inch Fools will present their rendition of Shakespeare’s “The Comedy of Errors.” Directed by Sean Turner, known for his work on “The Play That Goes Wrong,” this production is set to be a riotous journey of mistaken identities, hilarious mishaps, and endless confusion. The troupe’s signature fast-paced and musical storytelling will bring a fresh perspective to this classic comedy, ensuring that audiences are thoroughly entertained from start to finish.

Special Performance at Kirkstall Abbey

In one of the highlights of the tour, The Three Inch Fools will bring “The Comedy of Errors” to the historic Kirkstall Abbey on June 25th. This ancient and atmospheric venue promises to provide a unique and memorable backdrop for the comedy, enhancing the experience for all attendees. Make sure to mark your calendars for this special performance at one of England’s most iconic heritage sites.

A Tour of Heritage Sites

The tour will commence at Eastbury Manor House in Barking, London, a fitting starting point given its historical significance and beautiful setting. As a National Trust property, Eastbury Manor House provides the perfect backdrop for these open-air performances.

The Three Inch Fools will rehearse and debut their shows in the manor’s picturesque walled garden before taking the tour to various other historic and natural landmarks across the UK.
