Living Fire Centre Ltd

At the end of November our existing log burner installation from a company 15 years ago was "condemned" - faced with no heating over the Christmas period I asked around friends for a recommendations and Living Fire Centre came up. A visit to the showroom and Mike was helpful and informative - helping us make the right decisions for what we wanted. We needed to get it installed before Christmas and leave enough time to completely decorate the room - a big ask as the whole existing fireplace/chimney breast needed removing and a proper fit for purpose installation done. The installation team were fantastic, professional, worked collaboratively with my plasterer / decorator to ensure everything ran to make sure we got the Family Christmas we had planned ( 9 people ). Mike made sure that even though it could of been stressful for us - it wasn't - They nailed it - we were ready for our guests to arrive on Christmas eve - I cannot recommend these guys enough!!!

We had an old gas fire removed and a new gas stove with surround fitted. We have been doing a live-in renovation, and in the process have had several different trades in our home. I can honestly say that the guys that did the work were the most respectful people we’ve had work in our home. We are also really happy with the end result - it was such a transformation.

This is the second fireplace we have had created by this great company. They did such a good job with the first one, that when we moved house, where we inherited a woodburning stove, I felt it needed a new surround and be a centre point for the living room. There was no question to which complany we would use to achieve the look I was after. I couldn't recommend them enough. Mike was very approachable and listened to what I had in mind. The fitters took on board my specific requests and tweaked their plans to satisfy the vision I had in mind for the fireplace. I was able to select the wooden beam from the showroom myself. I am over joyed with the final look. Thank you Mike and the team.

We purchased an electric fire fitted and supplied my Living Fire Centre In Northallerton. We are delighted with the appearance and how realistic it looks. All our friends especially love the seasonal effects that projects onto the logs and show a projected theme like Santa running across. Amazing fire and great service. They also fitted out media wall for my husband’s extremely large big Tv. Thank you once again. We are making another purchase from them as we are so pleased. Lucy & Nigel

Shocking experience. After the installation, I discovered an uncapped gas pipe to the old fire behind the panel fascia installed with my new wood burner (no safety or warning signs in situ), this could have caused serious injury or death!! No installation documentation or “Notice plate” stating the installer is visible, which I understand is a Building Regulations legal requirement.
