This was a great outlet for lunch, located conveniently on the Northallerton high street! The counter is well laid out with all the available produce, staff were friendly and the frames have good images of the town's history. I had a tasty cheese and onion pasty, though it was too crumbly at the bottom and my coffee was nice however.

Need a staff turn over in here, can't be bothered to refund you if you've paid extra for sitting in. Then there's no seats. The person behind takes the seat without purchasing anything. Awful customer service in here. Thirsk all the way !

Unreal scenes behind the counter/staff obviously uneasy with each other/the wait time was + 20 mins for a breakfast order and when it was finally ready - the drinks had not been made so had to wait again. Plus got home and all coffee orders and sandwiches were wrong. Shambles. Line out the door - possibly most unorganised Greggs I’ve been to.

Visited on last Sunday or Sunday before. Started to speak to the young lad at the counter regards to what they had and was still hot... Flavours of the festive bake..... When a little old rude lady spoke right over him and implied that the festive bake had everything that a Christmas dinner would have.... But could not tell me everything so carried on with the term " and sort of thing " "you know " Unfortunately I did not know and that is why I was asking the young lad. So I replied with Brussels sprouts ? Cabbage ? Parsnips ? Roast potatoes? To which she replied "no" quite abruptly. We felt completely rushed and it was a shocking experience. I felt for that young lad... I told him as we left that's rude.. I take my hat off to him for putting up with that.. won't visit again anytime soon
