Looking for great food in Northallerton? Look no further than Katch - Best place to eat! Fabulous place with a good range of food on the menu, including many GF options. The staff are we welcoming and friendly bringing quick service to both drinks and food. (Not like other eateries within the town) Most importantly though, the food is hot, present well and very tasty. Definitely recommend to all.

Didn't stay in the hotel this cannot give a review on the rooms, but we did have a lovely lunch at the restaurant. Restaurant is situated at the back of the building so far away from the hustle and bustle of the high street. They have a set menu for 2 courses for £16 but I wanted some scallops which were not on the set menu...they were cooked to perfection - not rubbery or grainy at all. My paella was delicious! Portions are generous and everything is made from scratch. Had a lovely waiter called Tim who truly enhanced the experience 🙂 The menu has something for everyone... Have already recommended the Katch to family and friends as the food was delicious and the atmosphere pleasant. Will visit again soon 🙂

Went in for early tea. Restaurant was quiet, which suited me. Ordered "small" fish and chips-it was a decent plateful! My brother had a new special-the prawn curry-which he really enjoyed. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. Christmas menu looked quite nice as well. I don't get to Northallerton often, but will come back to this restaurant again.

What a fabulous place to stay! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The room was spotlessly clean and very well presented, with a lovely, comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The staff were attentive and friendly. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome here. We will definitely be staying again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The rooms are large and spacious, and it is in the centre of Northallerton. The only downside is the due to the age of the building the windows are single glazed, so you hear everything on the main street outside. Also they do not do breakfast, but Weatherspoons and the Golden Lion is just up the road.
