Wow! This place is just stunning. Jules and Trevor have provided just about everything you could wish for in this idylic country hideaway. The facilities are first rate and our hosts provided a very nice ‘welcome pack’ on arrival. This included fresh milk, eggs, butter, tea, coffee, jam and freshly baked bread and flapjacks. The cottage is remote but the nearby village of Pateley Bridge is just a few minutes drive away. There are plenty of places to visit nearby and we did our fair share of driving but were always keen to get back and just relax and watch the scenery from picture window. The ducks, chickens and alpacas are entertaining and the views from any of the windows are amazing. If you like the countryside and just want to ‘get away from it all’ you can’t go far wrong here, highly recommended!!!

A stunning place to stay. Its remote and so quiet. They have alpacas that you can feed (Cut carrots) and also very friendly chickens. The hosts are so welcoming. The place is beautifully decorated and the welcome pack of eggs, bread, butter, milk and the most fantastic oat cakes is amazing. A perfect location

Amazing location, fantastic room, not to mention the entertainment herding the ducks in at night, the alpacas (Al and Pacca) who came to say good morning at the kitchen window and the wonderful chickens who always came to look in the wonderful panoramic window you can sit at the look at the wonderful views of Nidderdale. 100% recommend, fantastic place, lovely hosts will definitely return.

We stayed at Moorhouse Cottage for a weekend. Jules & Trevor were terrific hosts, really accommodating and welcoming. They gave us lots of information about the local area and good places to eat out. Trevor cooks a fantastic breakfast too. The location is beautiful, the animals are so tame and seem to enjoy the fuss we make of them. The house itself was simply gorgeous, quaint, rustic, spotless and bijou. I just adored everything. It is a little chocolate box cottage with the most beautiful views, We enjoyed a glass of wine by the fireplace! It’s so very cosy we felt at home staying here. If you want a lovely peaceful time in the Countryside, this is an excellent place. We hope to see Jules and Trev the chickens, ducks, sheep and alpacas again in the future. Visit 02 July 2018

Great little B&B for hikers and adventurous people wanting to get away from it all. Hosts were very friendly and the cottage is an absolutely lovely place to stay. It's in a very remote but beautiful location. The friendly Alpacas were the real highlight though, rushing over to greet you every time you entered the garden. It's a great base to explore the Dales and Nidderdale and we'll definitely be looking to come again!
