The Patisserie opened in early 2011, fronted by local chef Andrew Walker. After turning round The Black Bull at Pickering with his Aunt, Andrew decided to return to his main passion of fine pastry, opening a new shop to fill a gap within Malton’s bustling town centre. They serve a range of delicious sandwiches, paninis, puddings and baked goods.

At Kemps General Store, you will find the things you most certainly want and may even need, such as an interesting book, lovely art, great cards, quirky things or a selection of beautiful tableware. Also hope that you might uncover something more unusual… one of those little treasures which pops out at you on a shelf when you least expect it.
