The Jungle Experience at Manor Heath Park is a tropical oasis packed with fish, quail, terrapin and butterflies as well as a collection of plants from all over the world. Just watch out for the dinosaurs! The eight hectare Manor Heath Park, awarded a coveted Green Flag award, offers a woodland walk, park trail and children's play area.

Go Wild in the Countryside

Another World Adventure Centre at Ogden is an exciting outdoor activity centre offering a wide range of activities suitable for all ages, groups and individuals. Enjoy archery, low ropes, go kart racing, mountain boarding, paintballs, den building and more. When the weather’s right you can also enjoy skiing and snowboarding!

Great family events take place at various Halifax venues such as Bankfield Museum, Square Chapel Centre for the Arts and Victoria Theatre. You can also escape to the wide open space of nearby Shibden Estate and the simple pleasures of pitch and putt, the boating lake and the miniature railway.
