We stayed two nights and everything was good. Good price for a good room with a very nice breakfast (our vegetarian/vegan needs were perfectly satisfied). It is located just outside the city centre, what was perfect for the walks we went on with our dog (the Canal is absolutely beautiful and with a bit of luck you might even see a Kingfisher). Would definitely come again.

Place was clean and would of been fine for a few nights if the bed hasn't been the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on. Breakfast also is only Continental at the moment as well so no cooked breakfast πŸ˜• Finally the mirror above the sink is so low only a midget would be able to see themselves shaving in it, so I had to crouch right over which given my back ached from the awful sleep I had was far from fun. On the upside was only around 50 quid and not too far from the town centre, plenty of off road parking too.

A fantastic B&B, can not fault it whatsoever. The owners made me feel most welcome as soon as I stepped out of the car. Spacious room and spotlessly clean, brand new immaculate bathroom, very comfortable bed and a delicious, ample breakfast. All this in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Very highly recommended.

My partner keith frobisher stayed for one night on thurs 10 may 2018 while cycling the Way of the Roses route. They made him feel very welcome they showed him to a large comfortuble and clean room.Good safe and secure parking for bikes.Had a good nights sleep and in the morning enjoyed a good breakfast before leaving. Only downside is the b&b is a little way from any restaurants or bars too far to walk but the good side is the hosts said it was fine to have a pizza delivered to me . Overall a great stay. I would recommened any cyclists doing the sea to sea route to book in here.

Comfortable, quiet and friendly. Not far from York and Beverley. Hearty breakfast. Pocklington itself worth a look as is the old canal nearby, in process of renovation, but with good towpath walking with chance of seeing interesting flora and fauna and getting away from " the madding crowd".
