Tower House Executive Guest House

Carol is a great host and the room that I had was spotlessly clean and very well presented. Little touches like a toothbrush and toothpaste in a sealed plastic bag show the attention to detail. My only issue was the traffic noise. I am a very light sleeper and there is a lot of traffic running past the house all night including a large amount of HGVs although I believe that the traffic level was higher than normal due to roadworks elsewhere. I'd definitely stay at Tower House again but would ask for a room that doesnt overlook the road.

A very well presented room, close to local amenities. Friendly and helpful service was provided by Carol on my arrival, and everything I needed was provided. Local cafes made up for the current lack of a breakfast option on the premises.

Stayed here for one night while I was on a 2 day course in the area. Warm welcome although I was informed I was early, 430pm!! That aside it was a pleasant stay. I booked the last room available which was on the top floor, no lift, which was no problem for me. Room overlooked the main road although it wasn't busy. Clean, well maintained room with ensuit. Also clean, well laid breakfast room and served a very nice full English. There was also a choice of continental breakfast, cereals etc.

It's a great place. Have stayed here many times. Always made feel welcome. Very friendly and accommodating. Is a short walking distance to where I need to be. Comfortable and safe for a woman on her own.

Lovely guest house! Great rooms with lots of little extras you wouldn't normally get in other places. Fantastic breakfast! Run by lovely people who can't do enough for you and make you feel very welcome! Highly recommended!!
