Pod Point Charging Station

So, I got here and both charging bays were empty, so I pulled in and discovered the cable for the CCS charger couldn't reach the charging port on my car (Kia EV6) so I tried reversing into the space, only for the same result. The only way I could have managed it would have been parking outside the bay, and that would have blocked off the other EV bay. Just an extra .5m of cable would have done the job. Please, whoever manages these charge points, consider us that drive awkward sized cars with the charge port in the silliest of locations.

had a successful charge the only issue was somebody else turned up tried to charge her car and then it kicked out so we had to wait a little bit longer. Someone else is turning up. I hope the same thing doesn’t happen.

The CCS charger lives up to it's name and will charge at upto 50kW. The 22kW charger only works up to 7kW on my Kia Niro and seems to throttle back to less power if the CCS is being used. Good location and available at all hours. Petrol station shop over the road if the main store is closed. *** 90 minute parking limit in the LIDL car park ***

You need credit on your podpoint app. The cables are a little to short for my front plug point, just reaching if I pull into the curb. I was told this is the only fast charge, each time I visited I had to wait to use the fast charge. I used the type 2 on my first visit. Given whitbys many weekend festivities, I can imagine this sees some use

It works! Available at third visit. Not clear if CCS & TYPE 2 work simultaneously because there was "Insufficient power" when I tried although I passed later and two vehicles were connected, so they were fortunate and I wasn't. Not too tight for access. Had enough charge after a quick shop. Good-un Podpoint, as usual.
