We visited as a tourer for a couple of days in late Autumn, it was quiet and clean and in a good location close to Scarborough attractions. It's not CAMC or C&C but it's not advertised as that , we tried it cos it was different. It was cheaper and slightly less inclined for tourers but hey , if we wanted that there is a site less than 2 miles away. For our short break it was fine.

we found this great campsite at short notice - they were really accommodating and friendly :) the £20 that people seem to moan about is yes for the electricity and also a deposit for the barrier pass - you get this back plus any electricity you haven’t used - it’s really not such a big issue - this site was amazing value for money - serviced pitch which is really spacious and offers privacy. Grounds are well kept and the owners are friendly and helpful. had few drinks in the bar too - didn’t eat but food looked delicious will be booking next year :)

It was interesting that we were here last October and the cost has now risen by a massive 65%! No explanation other Under New Ownership. Well I feel if the cost has increased the benefit to the guest should at least be noticeable. Sorry it wasn’t. I can’t imagine what the Seasonal Pitchers are thinking about it? Anyway best of luck Flower of May, hope you have a good season.

We arrived early and it didn't seem to be a problem. We received a friendly welcome and clear instructions about the pitch and directions on how to get there. Nice large flat pitch with your own tap and grey waist. We ate in the clubhouse one night and found it very reasonable and good quality food. Lovely clean site.
