This was a fantastic arcade to visit, lined with red shapes across its ceiling matching the floor's coloured pattern! Notes can easily be exchanged for coins at the desk and racing games were the best ones, was a exciting experience driving a sports car from its seat and also riding motorbikes that could be tilted to bend corners. Skiing is a blast too with the motion of the skis channelled through to points where players stand, pool tables are very large and kept sturdy for our games!
mega cool old arcade! really unique architecture, the vibes are so cool, and they have a decent selection of older and newer games. love the zoltar outside. however this place and many other arcades in scarborough have no ticket system - you're just playing for fun rather than gamifying collecting tickets and redeeming prizes. if this isn't a problem for you then definitely check this place out!!
Excellent seaside fun with a bowling alley! Lots of arcade games. Only down side was after paying for bowling and drinks they they want to charge you 20p to use the toilet! I mean seriously.......that's an insult.
Rude staff! I took a £10 to the change booth to get 10 £1 coins for the kids to play. I went away and gave a couple of £1s out to then realise I was given an old £1 and a 20p. I went back to the booth to explain that I’d been given the wrong money and I was made out to be a liar by the rude staff member. She claimed they don’t have old pound coins or 20ps there, I then said that she’d given me it as I only had the £10 to change into coins. I can’t believe the audacity of her to even assume I’d be lying and her being like that over £1.20! I left in tears and will boycott this place due to being embarrassed and being made out to be a liar!
If you've little ones who enjoy 2p machines this place is a lot better than olympia leasure,the staff are also nice and friendly and don't seem to mind helping with the 2p prizes that get stuck where as at OL there staff seem miffed you interrupted there chat at the escalator.
