Peasholm is a great park and amenity, and going up to the top of the island is well worth it. You cross the red and yellow bridge that straddles the lake and take the short winding route to the top. There you will find the oriental garden and pagoda with views out onto the park, boating lake and waterfall. Recommended.
Relaxing and quiet island inside Peasholm Park. Nice oriental theme, but nothing too special.
What little gem! Worth the climb up the steps for the aerial views of the park and surroundings, but the real surprise is the lovely little garden area behind the pagoda!
Had a nice walk round the lake and watched the naval warfare. Very tidy place and looking forward to my next visit.
The geese were great to watch, a huge gaggle swimming in a row on the lake. The whole park, the island, the bridge, etc could use a good spiffing up. All kind of run down.
