We’ve stayed here twice and we love this hotel, as does our dog. Hotel is lovely and spotless and the rooms spacious and comfortable. The shower, exceptional. We particularly like the fridges in the rooms. We were always greeted by a friendly face. And now with the addition of the wine bar, somewhere nice to have a drink. This is now our go to hotel in Selby.
Our stay in The Abbots Hotel was great. The hotel was easy to find and we had no trouble parking. The room was spotlessly clean, with very good facilities. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast facilities were excellent. Everyone we spoke to was very friendly. The only issue we had was the traffic noise at night, but this should be expected given the location. We would definitely stay here again.
We stopped in Selby on our way down from Edinburgh to London, and The Abbots Hotel was such a welcoming place. Located right in the middle of town, we were able to access everything we needed by foot. The room was spotless and updated, and one of the best places we stayed on our entire trip! If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely be back!
Beautifully furnished and decorated. Well located in the historic centre of Selby with convenient parking and facilities. The property has an interesting history too. I liked the blend of modern features in an older property. I would definitely stay here again.
A very lovely stay in Selby. The amount of careful work that has gone into this building to bring it to a very high, modern standard, whilst still maintaining and respecting its heritage and highlighting features of the past, is commendable. Clean, warm and comfortable. Highly recommend a stay here and we will be staying again.
