HMV Sheffield surprised me with its growing selection of pop culture toys and collectibles. From plushies and Funko Pops to retro gaming figures and anime merch, there’s something for every age and fandom. The layout makes browsing easy, and staff are happy to help track down specific items or pre-orders. I picked up a Studio Ghibli plush and a mini Marvel figure—both reasonably priced and well-packaged. Great spot for gifts or adding to your collection!

So today (16/07/2025) I popped in at opening time (09:30) to purchase a new needle for my record player. I happened to be £5 short of purchasing one. I spoke to a lovely chap on the till, who took me upstairs to the display only models, I told him what needle I needed, and he took one from the display models and gave it to me free of charge. And I've always received excellent customer service in that store.

Good shop, always find what we want there which are Kpop albums and Rock albums. Saturday is a fun day with new bands playing live. I would love to see more music magazines AND Kpop Merch on their shelves.

So far my one purchase of a morbidly obese kirby was really cheap and really good quality will definitely shop again (ps he has more friends now i went back and got 2 more)
