GSF Car Parts (Skipton)

Ash was amazing. Found the correct oil for my vehicle, cheaper than the one I’d gone in to buy. I wasn’t sure how much to put in as I was nearly on empty, Ash gave great advice. Incredibly happy with the service

Shocking service!! Purchased some battery’s from gsf car parts Skipton and unfortunately 3 out of the 4 turned out to be faulty/failed and was advised to bring them back, A gsf member Ash and Tracy was the most rudest and obnoxious character’s I’ve come across totally on the defensive and telling me they were all fine when the battery heath indicators said they were faulty. He had me coming backwards and forwards from the branch as if I have nothing better to do, then eventually was told he would replace 2 of the battery’s then when I got there, he was hiding upstairs and didn’t want to deal with me as he only ordered one battery in and started trying to argue me and speak to me like something he’d stepped in! And then some other woman called Tracy with the same arrogance started yelling down the stairs! Totally disgusting behaviour and do not know how gsf car parts are in employing such unprofessional rude obnoxious people! Avoid dealing with these people!! They do not even deserve the 1 star!!

Really disappointed with the service I received from Ash the manager. I had a failed battery this weekend that had covered under 500 miles. the battery wouldn't charge and read fault on the charger. i had the receipt The branch told me I had to purchase a new battery and leave the other one for testing until they could prove that it was faulty. I explained didn't have a spare £90 so I would be prepared to wait an hour for them to test the battery and realise that a fault code came up on the charger. I explained I had already tested it and it was a complete failure. I returned an hour later and Ash the manager told me I had to leave the battery on charge with them for 12 hours and he would ring me after the weekend, This left me without a car for the bank holiday. he said it was company policy, even though he admitted it was showing fail and refusing to take charge. He told me I could take it up with his manager and refused to change it again. I did say to him that tripping backwards and forwards an extra 120 miles wasn't great for the environment when we knew what the end result was going to be. I took the battery away to another GSF branch who swapped it without quibble!! immediately

Had just the thing I needed , great customer service, would recommend them for anyone needing parts for there car . I just needed wipers for my honda civic and they had them in stock . They was perfect. Good experience.

Dodgy, would avoid. Bought parts off them and they refused to take cheque or payment on card. "Had to be cash"...their invoice however says that there is a cheque option. These guys are our last option from now on. Tracey in office quoted us one price when part arrived they added an additional £140 top, rude staff on phones, cowboys
