Althams (at Skipton and other offices) are always easy to deal with and help us find the right holiday for our family.

My elderly family members booked a holiday in althams. They have very specific holiday criteria so that's why they chose this option over online booking. Well suffice to say althams sold them an utterly unsuitable holiday. They were given the impression they were staying in their requested area but had actually been placed in an area not unlike magaluf or ayia napa several miles away. The area was so bad that they were kept up until the small hours every night by drunkards on megaphones. They saw multiple inebriated and injured people being taken away by ambulance. They were so frightened by the atmosphere and one particularly unsettling incident that they no longer went out in the evening. They had requested a specific type of dining arrangement, they were told the hotel main dining room offered it. It did not. They have mobility issues but were placed in a hotel half a mile from the sea up a steep hill. They did go back to Althams not to complain but to make the company aware of how inappropriate the hotel was. They assumed it was an honest mistake. The attitude of the staff could not have been more dismissive, they took no notes down to avoid a recurrence and frankly made it very clear they could not care less despite this holiday having cost thousands of pounds. The resort they were sent to was recently featured in a national daily newspaper due to the level of rowdiness but Althams either don't have the knowledge they need to advise people properly to avoid that area or they only care about their commission. Given that the resort has an incredibly entrenched reputation as a stag do destination. It's hard to understand how althams would not have been aware of that. All around very very poor service.

Althams are very efficient and staff are amazing nothing is to much trouble for them and I wouldn't use any other travel company

Early last month I booked an UK internal flight through this company. 5 days before I was due to fly I had to cancel due to a positive PCR test. I asked if there was any chance of rebooking at a later date an by doing so not loosing my money. A lady called Leslie was so helpful. As soon as I gave he my new preferred dates she contacted the airline concerned and made all the arrangement's for me. This saved me a lot of money and a lot of hassle. I am very impressed and would like to thank all concerned. This company comes HIGHLY recommended.

My mum has used Althams for years. She is an elderly holiday maker who travels on her own and they really look after her. Brilliant service!
