We spent 4 nights over Christmas in our campervan at this lovely site. Communication with Jeanette was great. The showers were open, and worked well (pay 50p), but the shower room wasnt heated. We were aware of this before our stay and it didnt bother us. The ehu is 10amp. The pitch was reasonably flat. Other reviews have said there is no reception, but we had good 4g/5g throughout our stay and were able to stream live TV. The site is on a farm and there are also 3 lovely looking cottages. The site is close to the canal affording lovely walks into Skipton as well as to Gargrave. Lots of lovely walks and cycling opportunities. There is a bit of road noise, but not significant. We're definitely coming back in the summer.
Lovely campsite located on side of canal. Facilities were simple but well maintained. Great location for visiting Skipton. You do need 50p's for the showers.
Staying in one of the holiday cottages. 5* accommodation, loads of room, premises well appointed and equipped. Situated by the canal with walks along the towpath. Dog friendly, great view, situated just outside Skipton, ideally placed for exploring. Highly recommended
This is a fabulous site. Beautiful and quiet with excellent views over the Leeds and Liverpool canal. 10amp EHu to hardstanding pitch. Very clean toilets and showers. Fresh water taps and elsan point. Friendly owner. 45 min slow amble into Skipton along the canal. Taxis available too . Bus goes past but doesn't stop outside the site. We'll be going back . Loved it
Great little site for close location to Skipton. 1.5mile walk along the canal. Bustling little market town with everything you could want. Campsite is on a working farm. Toilets clean and tidy. Showers are usable but cold, could do with some form of heating for colder months. Owners very helpful. Good size pitches. £25/night with ehu (2025).
