Hugh Cornwell is a British musician and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the punk rock band The Stranglers. Although he was born in London, Cornwell has a strong connection to Yorkshire, having spent much of his childhood in the county. In fact, he has often cited his time in Yorkshire as a major influence on his music. While Cornwell is not currently touring in Yorkshire, he has expressed a desire to do so in the future, and fans of his music in the region are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to see him perform live.
