Women Talking is a novel written by Canadian author Miriam Toews, published in 2018. The book is based on a true story of a group of Mennonite women who were drugged and sexually assaulted by men in their community. The novel explores themes of faith, justice, and the power of women’s voices. Interestingly, Miriam Toews has a connection to Yorkshire as her mother was born and raised in the county before emigrating to Canada.
