This review is for the Spa area only. The rest i cannot comment on. visited the spa in October, and was heartily disappointed given the fact that so many of the facilities were out of order. Fair play to them they did send a message out that they were working on it, but it gave a bit of poor impression and made this single visit a fair bit less worth it. But what really, massively ground my gears were the fact that phones are apparently allowed in the spa. maybe ive spent too long living in Europe, but for me this is a huge no no, both on privacy and atmosphere. there were people in the actual saunas themselves texting and taking calls. also in the lounge areas. it is extremely hard to relax when someone is calling their friend Dave right next to you, or you can hear their phone going off every 5 seconds. or taking a picture of the pool, with you in it. its absolutely not on and they need to change their policy. also hygiene rules are there for a reason, people need to shower after the sauna before going into the pools. gross.

Currently awaiting a response from the Teesside branch on a cancellation refund due to a move abroad, I’m actually shocked and so disappointed in the lack of reply from them. Won’t bore you with details I will leave that for all to read after contacting Head office complaints. Poor performance Teesside, this episode ensures I wouldn’t touch the club again. Try looking through your emails I’ve sent you 5!! I have not came across such incompetence. Not worth the money on joint a club supposed to be ahead of the competition. For anyone reading this review I still haven’t had refund or any contact from the Teesside branch, what a disgusting service and total disregard from them. I think they are waiting for us to relocate to Dubai so they don’t need to refund us. Absolutely shocked. Worst experience of Customer service I have ever received. Avoided this far paying my refund and replying to my emails. They know I relocate to Dubai next week and are failing to refund my wife and I. Such a shocking performance. Don’t get me started on the failings within the building. Waste of money. Much better gyms in area who respect their members. Shame on Teesside and whoever staff member Nikki is? Must have turned her desktop off.

I signed up for a 3 month membership with my gf and wanted to make sure it didn't continue past this as the gym is incredibly dated, there's constant spa breakdowns, the dressing rooms are dirty and we barely go anymore. I contacted support and they told me we signed up for 12 month membership instead of 3 which we definitely did not. They even sent me the chat transcript as evidence of me "confirming a 12 month membership" despite it proving otherwise. Not only that but they over charged me multiple times, taking over £400 extra in one month alone. They have now stopped responding to my emails and there's no way to discuss it further. The 1 star is for the consistently helpful staff at the location, the rest is absolutely abysmal

I have to say this gym is for those who love themselfs and for the money its crazy expensive ive trained allover teesside from onegym to banentines and total fitness for the top membership is 58 a mnth pool saunas jacuzis ect and the gear is top end so now im saving 2 grand a year for somewhere with less i love myself attitude. Your defo paying for the name. Ok they have an outdoor pool but this isnt spain its stockton. Even the pool is small and when we went full of kids and teens taking selfies. Do yourself a fav save the cash try elsewhere
