Ideally placed in the heart of heritage rich Bronte country, nestled deep within a tranquil and secluded valley amidst eleven acres of ancient woodlands on the edge of a beautiful trout filled beck, Hewenden Mill offers accommodation for all tastes. This impressive three storey, 18th century cotton mill speaks externally of Yorkshire’s industrial heritage yet the interior is light filled, airy and modern – a magical meeting of past and present.

Mill Workers Cottages
Our three 4 star rated mill workers cottages have been recently renovated to create a cosy, comfortable environment with all modern conveniences. The cottages are laid out over three floors with a generous dining kitchen and lounge on the lower level, master bedroom with king sized bed, shower room and separate w/c on the middle level and a lovely light filled attic twin at the top of the house.

Bents Mill Houses
Bents Mill has been beautifully converted into five star self-catering apartments and houses. Sleeping up to 7 guests our three bedroomed houses are both spacious and comfortable. The generous and well equipped dining kitchen and lounge are found on the first floor from which guests can enjoy the fabulous views over millponds, woodlands and beautifully landscaped gardens. The second floor has two en-suite bedrooms while the third bedroom and bathroom are found on the ground floor.

Bents Mill Apartments
Accessed from the original stone spiral staircase our one bedroomed apartments are both spacious and comfortable for couples seeking an escapist retreat. The ground floor apartment has twin beds while the apartments on the first and second floors have king sized beds. Surrounded on all sides by millponds, woodland and beautifully landscaped gardens, Bents mill apartments enjoy stunning views from every window.

The valley within which the mill cottages are set is straddled at one end by the awesome 18 arch Hewenden Viaduct and culminates at the other end with a spectacular 30 ft waterfall. The journey in between is no less impressive, taking you through beautiful bluebell woods, past vast mill ponds and wonderful landscaped gardens. The walks really do start from your doorstep!

Hewenden also provides the perfect base from which to discover the North’s rich cultural and historical heritage – Haworth, Saltaire, Leeds and the Dales are all just a short car journey away.
