The Lowther Hotel was built in 1824 as a hotel and the original meeting place for people from the four corners of the world, so after a recent major restoration we thought it fitting to put things back as they were. The building was the first building in Goole and the Port opened in 1826, so as you can imagine a lot of meetings and events were held here within the first 2 year period.
