Originally a gamekeeper’s cottage for nearby Netherside Hall, the Gamekeeper’s Inn offers cosy interiors, delicious homemade food and a good selection of ales and wines. Set in the captivating landscape of the Yorkshire Dales, it makes for the perfect getaway from which to explore the stunning surrounding scenery.
All accommodation is beautifully furnished with en-suite bathrooms. Rooms include a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi. A Continental and cooked Yorkshire breakfast is included in the price of your stay.
Guests are entitled to use our excellent on-site Leisure Club with large indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and fully equipped gym. You can also treat yourself to a relaxing massage or extensive menu of beauty treatments at Long Ashes Pure Spa with guests receiving a 10% discount (excludes special offers)
FOOD & DRINK
The Gamekeeper’s Inn restaurant combines excellent service with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We pride ourselves on creating freshly prepared, tasty, traditional dishes served with a twist using locally sourced produce where possible. You can enjoy light bites, nibbles and a la carte menu in the comfort of our conservatory, traditional bar or in front of the log burning fire in the snug area.
The bar stocks a selection of beers including traditional cask ales, special guest ales and lagers alongside a range of spirits, wines, soft and hot drinks.

The Netherside Suite provides an idyllic setting for your celebrations. Full of rustic charm, its features include exposed oak beams, a log burning stove, terrace and garden.
Providing formal dining for up to 140 guests or a reception for up to 200 guests, the Netherside Suite can be tailored to your bespoke requirements. Our Civil Marriage and Partnership Licence enables you to hold both your wedding ceremony and celebrations with us.
