Whinstone View is a family-run business located on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Great Ayton, North Yorkshire. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, you can escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and totally relax in one of the seven luxury log cabins.
Each Scandinavian log cabin has been built with solid wood making them super cosy and inviting, but no two cabins are the same, as each has its own unique décor. All the cabins have their own private hot tub and are finished to a high standard with luxuries like super comfy king size beds, sleek bathrooms and smart TVs. The whole site can sleep up to 28 guests, offering plenty of accommodation for large groups and weddings.
The bigger log cabins have a kitchen and living/dining area with all the facilities you need for a luxury self-catering break; making them a perfect base to explore the local area.
There’s lots of places to visit nearby… if you love a day by the beach and fresh sea air, try the coastal towns of Saltburn, Whitby and Redcar for tasty fish ‘n’ chips and famous lemon tops! If you love a quaint market town then you’ll love Stokesley, Guisborough and Yarm – all have lovely eateries and boutique shops. A must see when visiting Great Ayton is local iconic landmark, Roseberry Topping, which is less than a 5 minute drive from Whinstone View.
If you’re traveling with children, there’s lots of family days out in the north east. From fun indoor climbing, to soft play and from adventure farms to outdoor play parks you’ll have lots of options to keep the whole family entertained! Flamingo Land theme park is only 30 miles away. Beamish open air museum and Diggerland are 40 miles away.
