Built circa 1840, our guesthouse is made up of what once was several small weaving cottages, arranged back to back - typical 1800's Industrial Revolution dwellings. Before becoming a guesthouse the buildings were put to use as shops (antiques and ice-cream!) and, more recently, a locally well-known restaurant, called Weavers, stood here for 35 years. Modern-day Weavers Guesthouse still retains the charm and many characteristics of those original weaving cottages, despite the changes in use over the years.
We are located within sight of the Brontë Parsonage Museum and the historic cobbled Haworth Main Street is just a minute's walk away. Our location, just a few hundred metres from the main shopping, eating and drinking area, means that we enjoy very peaceful surroundings whilst being just a stone's throw away from all the action. Equally, throw that stone in the opposite direction and you can be on the moors, away from everything and everyone in just a minute.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer spacious and stylish bed and breakfast accommodation with modern amenities. We have refurbished the house with a creative nod to the building's past and have tried to design with influences of historic Haworth. Weavers is perfect for walkers, steam train enthusiasts, literary buffs, history lovers, keen shoppers and those just looking for a relaxing break in peaceful and beautiful surroundings.
