Located in Pennine Yorkshire, with the Peak District on our doorstep and stunning views across the Holme Valley a warm Yorkshire welcome awaits when you stay on our working farm. Fill your days exploring the countryside, take time to learn a new skill with seasonal cookery and butchery courses held onsite throughout the year and join Andrew for a hands on muddy boot tour of our farm, indulge in local produce from our farm shop or simply soak up the scenery from our breakfast room.
Our traditional stone barn, a former mistal and sheep shed, has been lovingly restored creating bed and breakfast accommodation. Each of the eight bedrooms boast original features and all have private en-suite facilities. Underfloor heating throughout is powered by the earth's natural energy harnessed through our ground source heat pump. Andrew prepares breakfast each morning from fresh, seasonal and local ingredients, using our farm produce where possible. Breakfast is served in a large open plan dining room and lounge which overlooks the beautiful Holme Valley, spectacular all year round. The lounge area has a cosy wood-burning stove, comfortable sofas and is equipped with reading books and games for you to enjoy. Outside there is a private off-road car park with ample space for all our guests and a locked shed for bike storage.
