Our rural park nestles in the corner of the Holme Valley on the edge of the Peak District. Surrounded by 16 acres of woodland and meadows it is a perfect base for exploring the outdoors on foot or by bike. We are situated just a mile from Holmfirth with its wide range of individual shops, cafés, restaurants and galleries.
Along with the spacious showers and toilets, our new amenities block offers a little more luxury with our family bathrooms. Our well stocked, licensed shop is open into the evening and we also have a laundry. There is a play area for children and of course plenty of space for them to jump on their bikes and explore in the meadows or the woods. Dogs are very welcome and the surrounding woodland is ideal for walking. We have a wide range of pitches many with electric hook ups which range from lakeside or riverside, amongst the trees or in one of the meadows.
The River Holme runs around the park and many water birds can be spotted including herons, dippers and kingfishers. Fishing can be enjoyed on the park in both the river and the lake. We strive to keep our business as green as possible and take time to support our local wildlife and their habitats. Our efforts have been recognised and through the support of our guests we received our sixteenth consecutive David Bellamy Gold Award this year.
