Uppergate Farm is situated on the edge of Hepworth, a beautiful Pennine village. Hepworth is mentioned in the Doomsday Book and the village abounds with stone cottages, has lovely views and walks, a beautiful church and an excellent pub and restaurant within a five minute stroll of the farm. Hepworth has many traditions including the centuries old Hepworth Feast and is a living, working village of great character and you will enjoy the genuine hospitality of a thriving local community.
Uppergate Farm is a 17th Century farmhouse with oak beams, flag floors and paneled rooms. It has recently been awarded Four Stars for its outstanding accommodation in historic and peaceful surroundings. With three en-suite rooms all offering high quality furnishings, colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities. A dedicated lounge is available for guests, with books, maps, videos and games. Guests can also enjoy the superb, spacious, heated indoor swimming pool with the 'Tylo' sauna and steam rooms. The fully tiled pool measures 12.5m in length and is 6.5m wide; it is 1m deep at the shallow end and 1.4m at the deep end. The pool has full climate control but is normally heated to 31 degrees.
At Uppergate Farm there is extensive private parking for guests, private patios, play areas, woodland and farm walks. Children are welcome to take part in daily farm activities.
