The Stage 1 Men's Race in the Tour De Yorkshire, on Thursday 2nd May 2019, will be travelling along Melton Bottom, passing Eastdale Bed and Breakfast, making us a brilliant place to stay!
Eastdale Bed and Breakfast offers cosy, spotlessly clean accommodation, and our priority is ensuring that all our guests feel welcome, so that they can enjoy a relaxed and comfortable stay with us. Our location is central for day trips by car to the historic towns of Beverley, York and Lincoln. The City of Hull is easily reached by bus from right outside our house, and for car drivers there is an excellent park and ride service, less than ten minutes away.
Our garden is available for guests to use, weather permitting! It is pleasant to sit out and listen to the birds singing and we have a wide variety of garden birds visiting our garden, from the tiny coal tit to the largest visitor being a colourful pheasant. From the Twin Room window, there is a view of open countryside and guests have reported seeing deer, foxes and rabbits.
With regards to accommodation available, we have a Kingsize room with ensuite shower, and also a Twin room which has an adjacent shower room off its own private landing. We have also recently added a Single Room with its own ensuite shower room.
Fresh clean towels are provided daily, together with complimentary toiletries. All rooms have quality décor and furnishings, flat screen Freeview TV with integral DVD, hairdryer, alarm clock, and kettle with tea, coffee and hot chocolate, together with luxury biscuits for guests to enjoy. An iron is available on request. Free wifi.
We are pleased to welcome cyclists and walkers. Melton is on the Trans-pennine walking and cycle route, and we are just a "stone's throw" away from the Yorkshire Wolds Way for walkers, plus there are lots of other interesting places to walk in the area. Anyone who likes bird watching, will find Brough Haven of interest, which is only a couple of miles away, and just a little further there is also North Cave Wetlands.
Whatever your reasons for visiting East Yorkshire and staying at Eastdale, we hope you will have a really enjoyable time.
