Nestled in the countryside, the landscaped park offers seclusion for both its holiday home owners and guests.
The River Greta runs right next to the park. Our riverside walk allows all to appreciate the peaceful surroundings and stunning views of Ingleborough. An area where you can sit and dream, enjoy a picnic, or even a paddle. Wildlife abounds here with rabbits, squirrels, foxes, deer and also many species of birds. We’ve also seen grebe and heron on the river – and most recently otters. There is a beautiful woodland walk through the park which gives you the opportunity to experience the tranquil natural surroundings.
The park is located near the beautiful village of Ingleton, famous for the spectacular Ingleton falls. We are perfectly placed for exploring the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and the Forest of Bowland. The historic city of Lancaster and the diverse Lancashire Coast are within easy reach, including the attractions of Morecambe, or the elegance of Arnside.
There are many things to enjoy close to the park and you can relax in the friendly atmosphere of country villages and market towns with their shops, pubs and restaurants. There are many places nearby to go walking, as well as other outdoor pursuits such as pot-holing and caving. There is also a wonderful 18 hole golf course just up the road in Bentham, for which we can provide discounted rates.
Rivers Edge is the perfect location to get away and relax in the peace and tranquility of the countryside. For further information, or if you would like to visit the park, please call 015242 61833 or visit our website at leisureresorts.co.uk/parks/rivers-edge/.
