Public transport provides access to the village and even if you travel here by car, you can enjoy exploring the village and surrounding area without needing to drive.

Dating back to around 1750, this lovingly refurbished holiday cottage is very well equipped and maintained in pristine condition. Towels, bed linen and fuel are all included in the price.
Well behaved dogs are accepted at no extra charge (unless more than 2 dogs).Oozing with character, this lovely holiday cottage boasts original stripped doors, oak beams, central heating, a delightful wood burning stove and in the master bedroom, a beautiful hand carved 4 post bed, whose comfort is praised by guests, and good quality bedroom furniture. Ensuring the perfect retreat for a romantic break or family holiday.
The cottage has free Wifi, SMART TVs, CD, DVD, Radio, Surround Sound, FreeSat and Freeview, with a good selection of films, games and books.
The second bedroom has twin beds SMART HDTV, DVD, Radio.
Both bedrooms have hair dryers and plenty of storage space.
For really lazy days you can rely on the central heating to warm the late evenings. Outside are two decks for enjoying the sunshine or late summer evenings and having barbecues. Good quality garden furniture is available on the mezzanine deck, with benches and tables on the lower deck. A lockable stone built store for bikes and climbing equipment is situated on the upper deck for guests to use (belongings left at owners risk).
Shops and pubs are just a short walk away.
In the winter you can boost the ambience by lighting the wood burning stove with a couple of logs. The cottage offers a fully equipped kitchen. Complete with Rangemaster cooker, microwave, full height fridge freezer, slim line dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. Alternatively in a few minutes you can walk to the local pubs and teashops and have waiter service!
The bathroom has an over bath shower, wash basin, WC, shaver point and heated towel rail.
The cottage is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast, and perfectly situated. There is excellent walking and cycling direct from the door and many local attractions surround the area including the White Scar Cave, the wonderful Waterfall walk and nearby Settle to Carlisle railway line.
Short breaks of three nights or more are available outside of high season, but may be possible anytime if late availability permits

Secure storage for your bikes and cycles is available free when you stay at this beautiful eco friendly traditional 4 star cottage in the village of Ingleton. Located within beautiful countryside, Ingleton offers access to Ingleborough, Whernside and links directly with Hawes, and the Trough of Bowland. Tryst Cottage was featured in the Yorkshire Post travel magazine as the top self catering accommodation in the Ingleton area. Towels and toiletries are provided together with logs for the log burner and central heating. The cottage has a tumble dryer and washing machine and washing line as well as a dishwasher and a bath for soaking away any aching muscles. Hosepipe and work bench are available for use.
Minimum of three nights stay off peak season. Full week bookings are the norm in the summer months, although shorter breaks may be on the availability page. Ingleton is a safe area day or night time.
Whilst the stone shed is securely locked, storage is at the owners risk and we would recommend that appropriate insurance is taken out on your property.
