We welcome cyclists and provide a secure bike lock-up and a power washer to clean your bike and work-shop facilities for your repairs at the end of a days cycling.

The traditional Farm House is Georgian and Victorian and adjoins the granary conversion. We are very much a traditional working farm offering seasonal delights throughout the year. We have 165 acres comprising of livestock and arable.
John will happily arrange for you to tour the farm where you may see Masham and Suffolk Cross lambs, different breeds of calves and cattle in the field, including our herd of Aberdeen Angus cows and collect the free range eggs – depending on what season you visit.
You may just want to take a relaxing stroll across the fields and to the woods.
We offer a medley of 6 en-suite rooms to accommodate everyone from, the single business person, to families and friends. All our en-suite bedrooms are thoughtfully furnished, with a double bedroom in the farmhouse and a further four bedrooms in the granary conversion – two of which are on the ground floor. All our rooms are equipped with local ‘Oakwood Aromatics’ toiletries.
We also have the luxurious Gate Cottage, which provides the flexibility to have bed and breakfast or room only. It sleeps two and boasts an antique half tester bed and period furniture. Enjoy views over the Hambleton Hills from your very own private patio. Lovesome Hill was named the most romantically named place by the AA, making it the ideal place for that special weekend away.
Another option for a stay at our farm is a well equipped bunk barn, offering individuals or small groups the perfect place to rest after a long day exploring the many beautiful and different sights nearby, or as a stop-off for the coast to coast walk/cycle.
Why not take a welcome stop over on the way travelling North or South. Many attractions lie within easy reach of us. We are situated just 4 miles form the bustling market town of Northallerton where you can sample the delights of the famous Betty’s. We are also within easy reach of York, Whitby, Scarborough and Helmsley.
Start the day with our home-cooked, award winning, Farm House breakfast. You can savour the delights of our own sausages and dry cured bacon, real black puddings, organic milk and butter, homemade breads and teas and our own free range eggs. Seasonal fruit is offered on the sideboard along with homemade jams and award winning marmalades, local honey and lemon curd. Vegetarians and those on special diets are happily catered for with advance notice.
New for 2013 we now have a Canadian Hot tub available to hire. Privately tucked away overlooking the Hambleton Hills, what better way to relax!
We have a new, exciting addition to our family with the arrival of Shadow, our Sheep Dog puppy. He is already showing great promise as both our new family pet and also as a working dog for Farmer John.
