Toll Bridge Cottage

Self Catering, Serviced Apartments

A historic Saltburn cottage with stunning panoramic views of the North Yorkshire coastline and countryside. Toll Bridge Cottage was once the gateway to Saltburn’s "Ha'penny Bridge", a 150ft high footbridge that once joined the town centre to Saltburn Lane. The cottage now boasts four well sized bedrooms, and comfortably sleeps up to 8 people across three double bedrooms and one twin bedroom; two with ensuite shower rooms, and a large family bathroom. The unique porthole window in the living room looks eastwards and offers unrivalled views of Saltburn Pier, the Valley Gardens, and across the bay to Huntcliff. On the lower ground floor of the cottage you’ll find the large open plan kitchen and dining area, with everything you’ll need to cook up a feast or enjoy a fish and chip takeaway from the towns award winning Seaview Restaurant. Double doors lead onto the large garden, and those unspoiled seaside views. At the bottom of the garden you’ll find the summer house, a welcome respite on those warm summer days, or cosy winter nights. The decked patio area wraps around the valley side of the property, with ample outdoor furniture and large BBQ for summer entertaining. Toll Bridge Cottage really is the true Saltburn experience; steeped in history, unrivalled views, and a Victorian charm and character that will keep you coming back year after year.
