Attractive & inviting holiday home for 7 (max 4 adults)...which has many original touches such as old pine doors, panelling, exposed brickwork and stripped beams, whilst being modernised and equipped to appeal to the discerning visitor.
Access is from the parking space through a gated rear garden or through the front entrance porch into a small hallway. To the left of the hallway is a spacious lounge with settee and chairs tv, video and a coal- effect gas fire. The open-plan dining area is to the far end of the lounge and provides seating at a large table for all guests. The separate fully-equipped kitchen is situated beyond the dining area and is extended by a glazed utility room housing the washer. Also off the kitchen is a cloakroom with toilet and washbasin.
There is a neat and tidy garden; big enough to sit out and have a barbecue and completely enclosed making it safe for children.
To the first floor are the bathroom (bath, shower over bath, toilet & washbasin) and 2 bedrooms – one double & one single.
On the second floor are 2 further bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with a single plus good quality guest bed below. These rooms are enticing for children as they can lie in bed under the sloping ceilings and gaze through the roof lights at the night sky. The attic rooms are probably most suitable for the mature child (or the immature adult !!) as they are reached by rather steep, narrow stairs.
Gas, electricity, central heating & bed linen are included. Non-smokers preferred. Sorry no pets allowed. Private Parking within yards of the house. 2 miles to the south of Scarborough Town Centre - close to South Cliff Golf Course. A 5 minute drive to the Esplanade, Italian Gardens & Spa and a few minutes walk to join the Cleveland Way as it crosses fields & follows the cliff tops to Scarborough’s South Bay.
