You enter this charming cottage up 3 steps, through the front door which opens directly into a lovely sitting room, complete with dining table & chairs, 2 seater sofa and digital TV/integral DVD player.
Beyond this sitting room is a newly-fitted kitchen (complete with all the usual utensils and appliances including a washer and fridge/freezer).
A door from the kitchen gives access into a useful rear yard.
A beautiful second sitting room with sea views is on the level above (1st floor) with further comfortable seating, digital TV and DVD. Also on this level is a superb brand-new BATHROOM (fully-tiled and with bath, WC and washbasin).
Up another level on the second floor is a SHOWER ROOM with enclosed shower and wc. Also to this floor are 2 double bedrooms - one of which has glorious sea views. Both double bedrooms have wardrobes and all bedrooms have ample storage/hanging space.
The top (3rd) floor is taken up by another bedroom with 2 single beds. This bedroom also has stunning sea views.
The stairs are rather steep in places, but are easily manageable by any reasonably active person.
Bed linen is provided. (please bring your own towels).
All bedrooms have i-pod docks.
The property has gas central heating. No charges for heating, gas and electricity or bed linen.
A travel cot and high chair can be provided free-of-charge on request.
Private outdoor space is limited in the Old Town but this cottage has the benefit of a split-level yard to the rear accessed by several steps leading from the back door.
You are welcome to use this area but note - it is shared with one next-door neighbour.
Available on-street to the front of the cottage on a first-come-first-served basis. There is on-street parking available all around the Old Town. This is a busy and popular area of Scarborough and that comes with the compromise that in peak weeks you may have to park further away from the cottage than you would like. There is temporary parking available in the church park at the top of the hill for a charge... but this is handy if you cannot get parked up immediately on arrival.
There are also Pay & Display Car Parks - the nearest being close to the seafront. (Please see our PARKING IN SCARBOROUGH INFO SHEET.. .mid-left of our Home Page).
